About Norton Ohio
Norton, Ohio, is bursting with art and culture. Every year in September, the city holds an Apple Cider Festival, which includes fireworks, parades, crafts, and attractions. The festival was started by the Lions Club in 1988, as a substitute for an Oktoberfest. On September 23 and 24 of 1989, the first Cider Festival was held. During the 20th anniversary in 2008, the location of the festival was changed to be held closer to the city center at the Columbia Woods Park complex. Norton is also home to the Wolf Creek Players, which is a local community theatre group that puts on three productions per year. Proceeds are used to fund scholarships.
